Abstract: A CoOx/CeO2 catalyst was prepared by the co-precipitation-oxidation method, and its catalytic performance for CO oxidation was investigated under humid and dry conditions ,respectively. The CoOx/CeO2 catalyst exhibited excellent activity and good resistance to water vapor poisoning. Remarkably, 99% CO conversion could be achieved at 196 K for more than 400 min under dry condition, and when the reaction was carried out at 298 K, the conversion of CO was maintained at 94% after 2400 min. Even when 3.1% of water was added, the conversion of CO was still kept at 79% after 2400 min on-stream at 383 K.
