Abstract: Catalytic pyrolysis of three kinds of biomass was carried out using a dual-part icle powder fluidized bed (PPFB). The results showed that the tar in the volati le matter was transformed to the other pyrolysis products of the lower molecular hydrocarbon compounds at the higher temperature during the secondary reaction. The pyrolysis product distributions and its yield of the biomass could be contro lled by adjusting the secondary reaction parameters.
