Abstract: A Mo-V-Te-Nb-O catalyst with pure M1 phase was synthesized by a rotavap meth od under oxidative conditions. When some amount of NH4C1 was added to the synt hetic solution, M2 phase appeared, and the reactivity and mobility of lattice ox ygen were weakened in the order catalysts A>B>C~D, which was in good agreement with that of catalytic activity.

Key words: Mo-V-Te-Nb oxide catalyst, propane, selective oxidation, acrylic acid, reductant
