Abstract: How to incorporate a large amount of amine onto a porous host material and how to keep the guest well dispersed and distributed are crucial for the developmen t of solid amine adsorbents. The progresses on the design and preparation of sol id amine adsorbents are reviewed. Originating from the specific interaction of t he template with amine, the resulting composites possess a high capacity for CO 2 adsorption.
