Abstract: New catalytic membranes have been realized by the heterogenization of the photoc atalyst decatungstate (W10) in membranes made of the partially fluorinated polyv inylidenefluoride (PVDF) and the perfluorinated polymer Hyflon. The photocatalyt ic composite membranes are characterized by different and tuneable properties de pending on the nature of the polymeric micro-environment, in which the catalyst is confined.
