Epoxidation of Styrene with Hydrogen Peroxide over Mn-Ti-Al-MCM-41 Molecular Sieve under Microwave Irradiation

Abstract: A novel bimetal mesoporous molecular sieve Mn-Ti-MCM-41has been studied for the epoxidation of styrene with H2O2 under microwave irradiation. The result s of HRTEM, SEM-mapping of Mn and Ti, and 29Si MAS NMR revealed t hat the materials exhibited a typical hexagonal arrangement of mesoporous struct ure and uniform dispersion of Mn and Ti in MCM-41 framework.
