Abstract: Mesoporous Ce1-xZrxO2 (x=0.2, 0.35, 0.5) samples were syn thesized using polyol as the template, and CuO/Ce1-xZrxO2 catalyst samples were prepared by impregnation. The highest surface area of t he support and higher CO conversion and selec tivity of the Cu-based catalyst for CO selective oxidation under the H2-ric h conditions were obtained when x=0.5 owing to that the CuO/Ce0.5Zr 0.5O2 sample had the strongest interaction between the active component an d the support, the highest dispersion, and the most CO adsorption amount.
