Abstract: Boron-doped TiO2 was successfully synthesized by the hydrothermal method. In the as-synthesized samples, B-O-Ti bonds were formed. Phenol degradation was used as a probe reaction to evaluate the photocatalytic activity of B-doped TiO 2 under UV and visible light, and an excellent photocatalytic activity (100% p henol degradation in 5 h) was achieved.
