Abstract: Two kinds of Au/AC catalysts were prepared from the same precursor and reduced by microwave and conduction methods, respectively. The Au particles prepared by the microwave method was much smaller and more uniform than that by the conduction method. As a result, the former catalyst showed higher activity for ozone decomposition.
