Performance Improvement by Tungsten Oxides of the Pt-RuOxHy Electrocatalyst for Methanol Oxidation

Abstract: The dissolution of hydrous ruthenium oxide (RuOxHy) from a Pt-RuOxHy anode catalyst can be dramatically reduced by the incorporation of WOm. The resultant Pt-RuOxHy-WOm catalyst exhibited high stability for methanol electro-oxidation.
