Abstract: MgAPO-11 molecular sieves with various magnesium contents were synthesized by the static hydrothermal method using different molar fractions of MgO (x) in the reactive gel. The characterization results indicated that the isomorphous substitution of Mg(II) for Al(III) occurred. The reaction was first order in n-hexane. It was suggested that the monomolecular mechanism prevailed for this cracking reaction.
