Abstract: Single-crystalline perovskite-like oxides La2-xSrxCuO4 with spindle-, rod-, and short chain-like morphologies can be fabricated hydrothermally with spindle-like CuO, plate-like La2O3, and nitrates as metal source. The LaSrCuO4 (Nitrate_LSCO) exhibited the highest catalytic activity, giving a CH4 consumption rate of up to 40.9 mmol/(g×h) at 675 oC.
