Influence of Adding Different Alkaline-Earth Elements on Performance of Rh/Ce0.35Zr0.55M0.10O1.90+Pt/La-Al2O3 Three-Way Catalysts

Abstract: The catalytic activity of low content Pt-Rh three-way catalysts (Rh/Ce0.35Zr0.55M0.10O1.90+Pt/La-Al2O3, M = Mg, Ca, Sr, Ba) doped with different alkaline-earth elements was related to the specific surface area, oxygen storage capacity, and reduction ability. The Rh/Ce0.35Zr0.55Ca0.10O1.90+Pt/La-Al2O3 catalyst possessed excellent hydrothermal stability.
