Abstract: Au/CeO2-RE2O3 (RE = Nd, Eu, Sm, Y) catalysts prepared by deposition- precipitation for water-gas shift reaction were studied, especially, the Au/CeO2- Y2O3 catalysts with different Y2O3 loadings. The catalyst with Ce/Y molar ratio = 35 shows the best catalytic activity and stability because of its unique structural stability and oxygen vacancies.
