Abstract: Six preparation methods were used to prepare the CuO-CeO2/Al2O3/FeCrAl monolithic catalyst. The samples prepared by sol-pyrolysis, solution-combustion, and microemulsion methods had good catalytic performance for CO preferential oxidation and high adherence stability between the active species and the FeCrAl monolith.

Key words: copper oxide, cerium oxide, alumina, monolithic catalyst, sol-pyrolysis, in situ combustion, microemulsion, carbon monoxide, preferential oxidation
