Abstract: In the past 60 years, Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics has developed a number of hydroisomerization and hydrocracking refining catalysts. Its first 400 kt/a single stage vacuum gas oil hydroisomerization process and catalysts were commercialized in Daqing Refinery in 1967, which is also the first hydrocracking unit in China. As its latest achievement, a zeolite-based hydroisomerization catalyst was deployed in the 200 kt/a base oil isodewaxing unit of PetroChina in 2008.

Key words: hydrocracking, hydroisomerization, bifunctional catalyst
