Abstract: Ferric molybdate nanotubes prepared based on the Kirkendall effect and solid state reaction show fairly high selectivity for propene oxide in the epoxidation of propene by air. The unique catalytic properties of the nanotubes could be responsible for the special interation between Mo and Fe on the nanotubes.
