Kinetics Studies of Cobalt FT Catalyst Using High-Throughput Technology

Abstract: A 16-channel parallel reactor system was built to study the local properties of a fixed-bed reactor. For FT reaction in the absence of hot-spot and mass transfer limitation, the reaction rates, except for C1 and C2, first increase and then decrease with bed residence time, with olefin rate maximum closer to the bed entrance than that of paraffin.
