Multinuclear Solid-State NMR Characterization of the Coke on Mo/Hβ-Al2O3 Catalyst for Olefin Metathesis

Abstract: 129Xe was used as probe to detect the exact position of coke that caused the deactivation of the Mo/Hβ-Al2O3 catalyst. The carbon deposition was located at the positions of the channel intersections in Hβ zeolite.
