Abstract: A marked promoting effect on the preferential oxidation of CO has been obtained over a Pt-Ni-Mg/CNT catalyst, which might be due to the formation of Pt-Ni-Mg alloy nanoparticles to some extents. The catalytic performance did not change obviously during 24 h of run at 140 oC.
