Selective Oxidation of Methane to Methanol over Palla-dium-Metallophthalocyanine Composite Catalysts at Room Temperature

Abstract: Palladium-metallophthalocyanine catalysts were designed and their catalytic performance for methane oxidation by dioxygen was examined. The synergism between palladium and copper(II)-phthalocyanine resulted in an improved catalytic activity for selective oxidation of methane at room temperature in aqueous medium.
