Elemental Diffusion between Sm0.5Sr0.5CoO3-δ Cathode and La0.9Sr0.1Ga0.8Mg0.2O3-δ Electrolyte

Abstract: The cation diffusion from Sm0.5Sr0.5CoO3- (SSC) cathode to La0.9Sr0.1Ga0.8Mg0.2O3- (LSGM) electrolyte results in the formation of second phase at the interface of LSGM/SSC, which changes the electrochemical properties of LSGM and the performance of the cells.
