Catalytic Performance of Ba-Modified Pd/Al2O3 for Liquid Phase in Situ Hy-drogenation of Phenol to Cyclohexanone

Abstract: Catalytic in situ hydrogenation of phenol to cyclohexanone with hydrogen from aqueous-phase reforming of methanol over 3%Ba-Pd/Al2O3 catalyst, on which Pd particles were highly and uniformly dispersed, showed significantly higher phenol conversion than that over Pd/Al2O3 catalyst.
