Jointly hosted by Wuhan University of Technology, Changsha University and Kent State University, the 3rd International Workshop on Graphene and C3N4-based Photocatalysts (IWGCP3) was held at Wuhan University of Technology, Wuhan, China on March 23–26, 2019. This workshop was sponsored by National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC), Wuhan University of Technology, Changsha University, Beijing Perfectlight and others. Over 300 colleagues from all over the world participated in this workshop, which featured 8 plenary lectures, 12 keynote lectures, 22 invited lectures, 13 oral lectures and 157 posters. Top ten posters enjoyed recognition by the scientific committee during the workshop.
This special issue for Chinese Journal of Catalysis (CJC) contains 23 scientific papers, including one Communication and 22 research papers. These papers cover photocatalytic H2 production (13), photocatalytic CO2 reduction (3) and other branches of photocatalytic applications (7). Most of them were presented at the IWGCP3 workshop. All the published papers were strictly peer reviewed following standard review practices for the CJC journal. As the Guest Editors of this special issue, we acknowledge all the authors for their prime contributions and reviewers for their valuable inputs. Furthermore, we would like to thank CJC staff members Hongmei Yin and Yan Zhang for their kind assistance.
